Cluster lashes, lash extensions or strip lashes: what is the difference?

Full lashes without daily mascara – there are three ways to get them. They differ in how long they last, who applies them and how much time they take. Here is the simple comparison.

Strip lashes

A continuous strip that is glued onto the eyelid with lash glue.

  • Wear: for one day or one evening.
  • Application: by yourself, fresh every day.
  • Look: often clearly visible, because the strip sits on the eyelid.

Lash extensions

In the studio, a lash artist glues individual extensions or fans onto each natural lash.

  • Wear: several weeks, with regular refills.
  • Application: only in the studio, with an appointment with a lash artist.
  • Look: from very natural to very full, just as you like.

Cluster lashes

Small bunches of lashes that you place under your own lashes at home.

  • Wear: up to 7 days with the 2-in-1 Bond & Seal from our sets, water-resistant – even when showering and doing sport.
  • Application: by yourself, in a few minutes, without any studio appointment.
  • Look: natural, because the ultra-thin band (0.03 mm) lies flat under your own lash line.
  • Reuse: usually up to 3 times with careful removal and cleaning.

Which one suits you?

  • Just for one evening? Strip lashes are enough.
  • Full lashes for weeks, and you enjoy going to the studio? Then lash extensions from a lash artist are the right choice.
  • Full lashes for a whole week, done yourself and without an appointment? Then cluster lashes are ideal.
